Radio Deep Underground ("we", "our", "the station") is an independent online radio. We respect your privacy and process the minimum amount of personal data needed to broadcast our stream.

1. Cookies we use

This website uses only technical cookies and local storage strictly necessary for audio playback and to remember your preferences:

• rdu_cookie_consent — Stores the fact that you have acknowledged this notice. Local storage, no expiration.
• Audio playback state — Volume, last play position. Local storage only, never sent to a server.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking on this domain.

2. Audio stream

When you press play, your browser establishes a direct connection to our streaming server (radio.radiodeepunderground.com). The server logs your IP address and user agent for the duration of the connection only, for technical and anti-abuse purposes. These logs are rotated regularly and are not shared.

3. Embedded third-party content

Some sections embed external players (SoundCloud, Spotify). When you interact with them, those services may set their own cookies, governed by their own policies:

4. Music licensing

Music broadcast on Radio Deep Underground is licensed through SACEM and SPRE for the European territory. Now-playing metadata is fetched from our station server and is not personal data.

5. Donations

If you support us through PayPal or Ko-fi, the transaction is handled entirely on those platforms. We never see your card details. We may receive your name or alias and the donation amount.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the European GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify or erase any personal data we may hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France: the CNIL — www.cnil.fr).
